云天收夏色，木叶动秋声，在商大向阳花盛开的九月，管工学院迎来了来自27个国家的56名2019级国际生新生。近日，管工学院2019级国际生新生见面会在F322教室顺利召开。见面会由国际生管理员余荣芳老师主持，学院副院长傅培华老师和全体国际生新生参加会议。
Recently, School of Management and E-Business successfully held the 2019 new international student orientation meeting at classroom F322. The meeting was hosted by Ms. Yu Rongfang, SME vice dean Professor Fu Peihua and all new international students attended the meeting.
本次见面会共分为三个环节。见面会伊始，余荣芳老师向新生们详细介绍了在校学习和生活必须了解的信息，并悉心解答了新生关于签证、奖学金申请、学习、住宿等方面的问题。随后是管工学院学生会国际部的纳新宣讲环节。听了部长对国际部工作生动的介绍和对往年活动的精彩回顾，不少新生都跃跃欲试，希望能成为国际部的一份子。
The meeting was divided into three parts. At the beginning, Ms. Yu introduced the basic information of study and life in the school, and answered the questions about visa, scholarship application, study, accommodation and so on. This was followed by a presentation given by International Department of SME Student Union. After listening to the minister’s vivid introduction to the department and a wonderful review of the activities of previous years, many new students are eager to register and hope to become a part of the International Department.
见面会最后由副院长傅培华老师做总结性发言。傅老师代表全院师生对在场的国际生新生表示热烈欢迎，并对新生的大学生活提出几点期许：树立明确的奋斗目标，努力学习，成为专业的人才；认真学习中国的法律法规和学校的规章制度并严格遵守；多感受中国，尤其是杭州的自然之美和文化之美。
At the end of the meeting, Professor Fu made a concluding speech. On behalf of the teachers and students of the whole school, Professor Fu expressed warm welcome to the new international students, and made some expectations for the new university life: establish clear goals, study hard, become professional talents; seriously study Chinese laws and school regulations and strictly abide by them; enjoy the beauty of nature and culture in China, especially in Hangzhou.
新生见面会是国际生新生与学院之间初次面对面交流的桥梁，旨在让来自世界各地的国际生新生们感受到来自学院的关怀和异国的温暖，帮助新生更快适应新国家、新环境从而更好地面对新挑战。
Orientation meeting is the first face-to-face communication between new international students and the school. It aims to make the international students from all over the world feel the care from the school and the warmth of China, helping the new students to adapt to the new country and the new environment.
相信在接下来的日子里，管工这55名新生能以更加饱满的精神和积极的态度书写自己大学生活的新篇章，希望他们在大学时光里都能够有所收获有所成长，并最终实现自我价值。
It is believed that in the days to come, the 56 new students will be able to write a new chapter in their university life with a fuller spirit and positive attitude. Hope they will grow and eventually realize their self-worth.
