钱塘江畔，向阳花开，今年管工学院迎来了来自19个国家的72名国际新生。受疫情影响，一直在国外进行线上学习的新同学们还没有机会认识彼此、了解学校。为了帮助同学们更好地融入校园生活，10月21日下午，管工学院在B131教室召开2020级国际生新生线上见面会。
Sunflowers bloom on the banks of the Qiantang River. This year, School of Management and E-Business has enrolled 72 international freshmen from 19 countries. Affected by the epidemic, new students who have been studying online abroad have not had the opportunity to get to know each other and the school. In order to help students better integrate into campus life, on the afternoon of October 21, the online welcome meeting of 2020 SME international students was held in classroom B131.
见面会由管工学院学生会国际部俞佳云、舒洋主持，邀请副院长傅培华、国际教育中心主任毛郁欣、新生班主任代表朱安定和国际生辅导员余荣芳到场参与，全体新生在线上观看直播。本次见面会共分为教师寄语、学生发言和新生班会三个环节。
The meeting was hosted by Jia Yu and Monica Shu from the International Department of SME Student Union, and invited SME Vice Dean Peihua Fu, the Director of SME International Education Center Elwin Mao, the representative of the freshman class head teacher Andrew Zhu, and the international student counselor Rosa Yu to attend the event. All freshmen watched the live broadcast online. This meeting was divided into three parts: teachers’ speeches, students’ speeches and freshman class meeting.
会议伊始，副院长傅培华老师向同学们介绍了我院的专业概况和办学条件，并向新生们送出寄语，希望大家能用“自信、自律、自强”的态度对待留学生活和学习，争取成为“专业的人、文化的人、世界的人”。
At the beginning of the meeting, Professor Peihua Fu introduced the professional profile and teaching conditions of our school to the students, and expressed his wishes to the freshmen, hoping that everyone can treat their study with confidence, self-discipline, and self-improvement attitude, and try best to become a person with “profession, culture and global vision”.
随后，国际教育中心主任毛郁欣补充介绍了同学们选择来到杭州这个电子商务之都学习电子商务、物流管理专业的绝对优势，并对每一位加入管工大家庭的国际新生表示欢迎。
Next, Mr. Elwin Mao added in his speech that the students did an absolutely correct choice of coming to Hangzhou, the e-commerce capital, to study E-commerce and Logistics Management, and welcomed every international freshman who joined SME big family.
商务班班主任朱安定老师则是从在校生活方面向大家进行了细致介绍，并提醒大家日常要注意遵守规章制度，远离毒品，平安留学。
Mr. Andrew Zhu, the head teacher of freshmen majoring in E-commerce, gave a detailed introduction to everyone from the aspects of school life, and reminded everyone to observe the rules and regulations, stay away from drugs, and study abroad safely.
在见面会的第二环节，国际生新生班助王佳瑶、阮寒钰、俞佳云、阮梦娴首先从同龄人的视角向新生们讲述了她们眼中温暖的浙商大，鼓励每一位同学努力学习、积极参加校内外各类活动。
In the second part of the meeting, the international freshmen class assistants Scarlett Wang, Fairy Ruan, Jia Yu, and Sophia Ruan shared their feelings about ZJSU to the freshmen, and encouraged every student to study hard and actively participate in various activities in and outside the school.
接下来我们邀请了国际新老生代表依次上台发言。作为老生代表，来自也门的大三学生哈米向新生们分享了自己的学习经验，阐述了努力学习奋力追梦的重要性。来自俄罗斯的新生代表舒娜则用流利的中文表示了对大学新生活和早日与同学们相见的热切期盼。
Next, we invited representatives of new and old international students to speak. As a representative of the old students, Hami, a junior from Yemen, shared his learning experience with the freshmen and explained the importance of studying hard and pursuing dreams. Aleksandra, a freshman representative from Russia, expressed her eager hope for a new life in the university and an early meeting with her classmates in the near future in fluent Chinese.
随后是学生会国际部的纳新宣讲，国际部部长李舟琛图文并茂地介绍了管工国际部的工作概况和特色活动，对即将迎接国际成员的加入表达了期待与欢迎。
This was followed by a presentation by the International Department of SME Student Union. Nora Li, the Minister of the International Department, introduced the work and special activities of the International Department vividly, and expressed her expectation and welcome for the international members to join.
见面会后，四位新生班助分别组织召开了各自班级的新生班会。通过钉钉视频连线，班助引导同学们依次进行自我介绍，有的班级还有积极分子直接在群里爆照了，班会气氛轻松愉悦，笑声和善意冲淡了距离的隔阂，让大家感受到班级大家庭的温暖。这是新生们的第一次“隔空相认”，一个个原本只知道名字的同学，从此终于在各自脑海中有了具体的形象。
After the welcome meeting, the four freshmen class assistants held freshmen class meetings for their respective classes. Through the Dingtalk video call, the class assistants guided the new students to introduce themselves in turn. In some classes, activists directly sent photos in the group. The atmosphere of the class meeting was relaxed and happy. The laughter and kindness dilute the distance between them and let everyone feel the warmth of the class family. This is the first time for freshmen to meet each other face to face online. From then on students who only knew their names finally have concrete images in their minds.
此次线上见面会是新生们融入校园生活的良好开端，在云端为新生与学院之间搭建了沟通的桥梁，让来自世界各地的新生们感受到来自学院的关怀和温暖，让我们一起期待疫情过后在线下的欢聚，相信大家未来四年将会在商大度过充实多彩的大学时光，书写出属于自己的华丽篇章。
This online welcome meeting is a good start for freshmen to integrate into campus life. It has built a bridge of communication between freshmen and the school online, allowing freshmen from all over the world to feel the care and warmth from SME.
