欢度国庆

金秋送爽，又逢国庆佳节。为确保22名在校国际生度过一个安全愉快的国庆假期，9月30日下午，管工学院国际生辅导员余荣芳、任怡，和两位2022级硕士生班班级助理曹祥瑞、郑菁琳一起前往金沙港国际生宿舍进行走访慰问。
In order to ensure the 22 international students have a safe and happy National Day holiday, on the afternoon of September 30th, SME international student counselors Yu Rongfang (Rosa) and Ren Yi (Ronnie), and two class assistants Cao Xiangrui (Andrew) and Zheng Jinglin (Jacelynn), went to the international student dormitory in Jinshagang to pay a visit.
学院为同学们精心准备了生活用品和防疫物资，希望同学们理解、支持、配合学校的疫情防控措施，自觉遵守纪律、落实防控要求、保持学习热情，做好卫生保健，加强体育锻炼，展现管工学子的责任担当。
The school has prepared daily necessities and epidemic prevention materials for students, in hoping that students can understand, support and cooperate with the school's epidemic prevention and control measures, consciously abide by the discipline, implement the prevention and control requirements, maintain the enthusiasm for learning, take good health care, strengthen physical exercise, and show the responsibility of SME students.
慰问过程中，老师们与国际生进行深入交流，回答了国际生在选导师、毕业论文、实习等方面的疑问，解决了同学们生活中遇到的实际困难。面对即将到来的国庆假期，老师们也提醒大家在游览杭州美景的同时，注意疫情防控与自身安全，并且在宝贵的假期时间，兼顾学业，奋发向上。
During the process, the teachers had in-depth communication with the international students, answered the questions of the international students in the selection of supervisors, graduation thesis, internship and other aspects, and solved the practical difficulties encountered in the life of the students. In the face of the upcoming National Day holiday, teachers also remind everyone to pay attention to epidemic prevention and control and their own safety while visiting the beauty of Hangzhou. In addition, they should take into account their studies and make progress during the precious holiday time.
慰问现场，国际生们开心地收下礼物，踊跃分享他们的假期规划，并对学院和老师、班助们表达了真挚的感谢。其中研三的硕士生Tatenda表示，国庆假期结束后他马上就要在10月9日进行毕业论文预答辩，虽然已经写好了论文，但他会利用国庆假期来进行更充分的准备，争取预答辩取得一个满意的结果。
At the scene, the international students accepted the gifts happily, shared their holiday plans enthusiastically, and expressed their sincere thanks to the school, teachers and class assistants. Tatenda, a master's student in the third year, said that he will have a pre-defense of his graduation thesis on October 9 immediately after the National Day holiday. Although he has written his thesis, he will use the National Day holiday to make more full preparation and strive for a satisfactory result of the pre-defense.
